Remember this one? From the TOURISM-album. We recorded it in an empty nightclub in Sao Paulo if my memory serves me well. Touring South America with the Join The Joyride-bonanza in 1992. /P. ... See MoreSee Less
Love this one. And the demo is the best, IMHO. The contrast between sad lyrics and uptempo beat is great.
Here comes the weekend - my Favorite of this Album
I will never forget it. And here’s why: I fall in love with the track way back then. Last December, while visiting part of Latin America I found the vinyl copy in a record store and I bought it in an instant. What a coincidence to visit (Rio, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Sao Paulo) and to find out that those are some places where you recorded for this album as well. How cool is that? 😉
Great album, i like it very much
And you mean the Join the Joyride Tour, instead of Bonanza to correct your Memory!
This song has always been a fave. Just the piano and Marie's voice. So simple, yet so powerful!
Love your demos of that song too especially the reggae version is cool ❤
The big great piano ballad! Miss Effe on top shape!
When me and my daughter Victoria travel we always listen to the song again and again ❤️

« There’s no escape for the broken hearted....🎶🎶🎶 » One of my favorites !
The good-bye image of Marie and you with Perfect Day sounding reflects the peak of your success. An iconic pop moment!
What a wonderful song to close the show... Lots of emotions here!
Amazing live performance 💛💙
Yeah, this Saturday is grreat (at least here, in my hometown😎🌞) Have a nice day, Mr G😁
Wonderful memory. It is perfect song. In Rosario, April 2012, SHE sang another perfect version.
"Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle are singing Perfect Day from the Joyride album Live in Zürich from their Join the Joyride worldtour in 1991 and 1992." It's written below the clip on youtube.
Wonderful. Amazing fans too.
Not sure. There are so many recordings from that tour. Give me some time to check... 🤔
Great memories. Such a beautiful song.
Beautiful and nostalgic
Always is a perfect day!
That was in Zürich 1991 😉have a nice Weekend Per ❤
One of my favourites ❤
That's because there's no escape for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: there's no return / once you lost your way to Halmstad. You (none of your yous, Per Gessle) should have never forgotten how to listen to HER heart. And it's hej, hej, not hey, hey, blue and yellow please!
Zürich 1991. Was broadcasted live all over Europe! I watched the video a gazillion times, age 15 at the time. Will still do! 💞😊
Zurich 91? They showed it live on TV1000 in Sweden. Parents let me stay up on a school night to watch until the end!!!
